An essential component to learning the language of jazz music includes the act of transcribing improvised solos from jazz greats. The quickest and most authentic way to grow as an improviser is to immerse yourself in the sounds and artists of the jazz genre by listening and transcribing. All of the transcriptions that I have posted below on my website are solos from some of my favorite trumpet players that I have spent countless hours listening to and drawing inspiration from.
